Print

Domestic address – first issue arrives in approximately 3-4 weeks

Canadian address – first issue arrives in approximately 4-6 weeks

Foreign address – first issue arrives in approximately 6-8 weeks

A current issue of Fine Woodworking , Fine Homebuilding, Threads, Fine Gardening or Fine Cooking magazine is available at bookstores like Barnes and Noble, local drug stores, grocery stores and many retail outlets.

Each issue can be quite large. If a magazine issue is saved on your device you will see an "Archive" button below the cover. Tapping this once will Archive the issue, helping to free up space on your device. Once archived, the issue will remain visible for you to download again at any time.

Purchasing a subscription directly through this app (at the iTunes or Google Play store) will make the most recent issue and any issues released within the time that your subscription remains active available to you. Issues published before your subscription started, or after your subscription expires will still need to be purchased

When you start a magazine download, the process is then taken over by your device's operating system. These downloads are usually very stable, but if you are having problems there are a few things you can do to try to get it working properly:

  • Connect the device to a Wi Fi connection, rather than trying to download over 3G, GPRS, etc.
  • Connect the device to a power source
  • Restart the device entirely - this will clear the download queue and you can start the process again from the beginning.

If an issue is free or you have previously purchased it, you can tap the "Download" button to save the edition to your device. Please be patient while issues are downloading. There will be a bar to show the progress of your download, but these are large files and may take up to a few minutes. You must be connected to Wi Fi to download an issue. Once downloaded, it can be viewed offline.

On the shelf, if a magazine is saved on your device you will see an "Archive" button below the cover image. Tapping this once will Archive the issue, helping to free up space on your device. Once archived, the issue will remain visible for you to download again at any time.

When you click Log in at the top of the web page, there is a Forgot Password or Request New Password link. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

Passwords are case sensitive and must be 8-20 letters and/or numbers

To post your comment, page down to the bottom of the article and log in to the site. You must be logged in to your registered account to comment. If you have never created an account, you will need to create an account to comment on an article.

A print subscription does include free access to the digital edition of the magazine but it does not include any access to paid content on FineGardening.com.

If you are a print magazine subscriber, you will need your email address and last name to log into the app. If you are a digital magazine subscriber, use your email address and last name.

We mail or email renewal notices to you prior to the end of your subscription period to be sure you have ample time to renew. You can renew your magazine subscription by completing and returning the notice.

A digital subscription is an electronic version of the magazine that you can read on an Apple or Android device after you have gone to iTunes or Google Play and acquired the App. It includes all the features of a print magazine plus enhanced content.

A print subscription does include free access to the digital edition of the magazine but it does not include any access to paid content on FineHomebuilding.com.
