Is the digital version the same content as the print version of Dwell?
Yes, the digital version of Dwell offers the exact content, presented in the same order and style as our print issues of Dwell. We strive to maintain the same satisfying and high quality Dwell experience digitally. In addition to the same content, you have the benefits of search tools, zoom and highlight options, and links to external reference, depending on the digital edition provider you subscribe through.
How will I get my first issue of Dwell in Digital format?
After you've ordered your subscription from one of the various Digital Edition platforms, you will receive immediate access at the conclusion of your order transaction, or an email notification letting you know when your issue is available to download. Most platforms require the installation of an app or desktop software. Refer to your digital edition platform requirements.
What if I experience trouble downloading/accessing my issue?

How will I receive my digital issues of Dwell?
When each issue of Dwell is available, it will automatically be added to your library on whatever Digital Edition platform you subscribe on. You may also receive an email notifying you that your issue is ready to download depending on the platform you subscribe on.
Does reading the Dwell Digital Edition require internet access?
No, once the issue is downloaded onto your computer or mobile device, you can access it without internet access. However, downloading the issues does require an internet connection.
Is the Dwell Digital Edition more expensive?
No, Digital Edition subscriptions cost the same as a print subscription within the United States. Canadian and International subscribers can save money by choosing the Digital Edition because there is no surcharge for international postage. Purchasing the Digital Edition, Canadian and International subscribers pay the same price as U.S. subscribers.
Can I buy single issues of Dwell digitally?
Yes, you can purchase current or back issues of Dwell's Digital Edition through iTunes, Zinio, Kindle, Nook, and Google Play Newsstand.

I've downloaded your Dwell app from the Apple iTunes store, do I get free issues?
No. While our Dwell app found in the Apple iTunes stores is free of charge to download, our annual 1-year (10 issues) subscriptions need to be purchased within the Dwell app. Annual subscriptions may be purchased for $19.95 USD.
Similarly, if you have downloaded the Zinio, Kindle, Nook, Google Play Newsstand app, reader, or software you will be required to purchase a 1-year subscription to Dwell.
What are Dwell Special Issues? Do I get these as part of my Digital Edition subscription? Can I buy a Special Issues digitally?
Dwell Special Issues typically focus on a specific topic, and available only on newsstands for a limited period of time. Dwell Special Issues are not part of your regular annual subscription, these are only sold on newsstands for a limited period of time. Digital versions of our special issues are available on some digital edition platforms but not on all.
