In 2020, National Geographic will reimagine our travel media business in bold new ways. We will strengthen some content platforms and move others to different formats to drive success and redefine how we deliver the world's best travel storytelling to our global audience of 59 million people.
As part of our strategy, we will cease publication of the U.S. edition of National Geographic Traveler magazine after the December/January issue. We will continue to lean into travel content by investing in travel journalism for digital platforms, supporting the adventures of our travel Expeditions group, developing travel content for National Geographic magazine, publishing travel-themed special issues and supporting our 17 local language editions of National Geographic Traveler magazine.
